Every request makes the previous link invalid. So the sequence would look something like: user requests password reset email > user doesn't get email right away > user requests 2nd password reset email (making the first one invalid) > user gets first password reset email with invalid link > user requests 3rd password reset (making 2nd one invalid) > user gets 2nd email with invalid link > etc etc etc.
It could be that you're just one email ahead.
Check out the "lost your password" link on the login page. Be sure to check your gmail spam folder or other inbox tabs like promotion or social if you're not seeing that reset email.
NOTE: When you request a password reset from the website wait for few minutes until you get the new password information in your email.
